They found that smarter people, that is, people with higher IQs are more prone to do stupid things, BUT, they realize that they are doing these things and seek to counterbalance this. For instance, if a person with a high IQ eats an entire pie, they are proven more likely to go to the gym after to work of the fat they had just gained than those with lower IQs. so, inherently when smart people do drugs, they do things that will repair their bodies as opposed to less intelligent people who will do the drug and not do anything beneficial for their body.

ReplyDeleteThat makes so much since and I understand it, because I do that. When I smoke weed, I use the benefits to be creative: I draw, I write, I play my guitar. I feel good, but I'm also being productive (as those are things I am seeking to make careers of in the future). If I eat unhealthy food, I work out more.

ReplyDeleteI have known quite a few smart people who have done drugs but it's a huge pitfall. Of course I also knew dumb people who did drugs, but having zero wisdom will always destroy you, no matter how smart you are.
ReplyDeleteHigh IQs will get you a needle in your veins, haha... I think it would have been funnier if they said that if you are smart you have to do drugs, and that you have no choice.
